A Pink Baby Quilt

I made this lovely quilt for my sister. She just had a baby girl (after 4 boys!) and I thought their house could use a nice dose of PINK! I learned how to make these Dresdans on the ORBC quilt along over on Flickr. I just sent it off with my mom to the Netherlands and forgot to take a picture ofthe binding...dang it! I just remembered that! Oh well, I used scraps from the quilt top itself to make the binding....it's truely a SCRAPPY quilt!

Some lovely pinkness~

I quilted it on my longarm with simple loops and hearts! I think it's very fun!

And for the back.....some lovely Tula Pink!

Now....I need to buy some more fabric! I've been using up all my stash to make scrappy Dresdans and I have lots of room in my stash drawers....what is your favorite new line this Holiday Season?

  1. This is gorgeous!! I have dresdans next on my to-do quilting list and this has totally inspired me. The quilting is so sweet and just perfect with the pinkness.

  2. This is very pretty. Love the colors and fabrics. I have yet to make any dresdens. Are they appliqued on? How long have you been using a long arm? Do long arms have stitch regulators?
