march madness GIVEAWAY!!!!

i'm feeling kind of saucy today! it's the first day of March and i am thinking along the lines of "March Madness" here on my blog. i am having my very first giveaway and i think it's a doosey. in the giveaway you have the chance to win 12 Fat Quarters of "Rouge et Noir" by Michael Miller and a 100m spool of red Gutermann thread.

the rules...there are a couple...to be entered into this drawing you can do the following for each chance:

1. leave me a comment and tell me what you would like to do with these FQ's
2. become a follower and leave an additional comment to tell me you did so.(if you already follow...leave me a comment too)
3. blog about my giveaway and leave me a comment with your blog name/post.

simple

i am super excited for one lucky person to receive this bundle and i will use a random generator to pick the lucky number on Sunday. this giveaway closes Saturday night at 9pm (PST).

  1. I would mix these with black, white and red solids and make a quilt for my daughter who is now too old (9) for a girly quilt and is now insisting she needs a boy quilt - go figure :-)

  14. Hmmm...well I would add the reds to my stack for the redwork quilt I'm working on. Those crowns are just amazing...I don't know yet how I would use them, but they would definitely find a good home eventually.

  27. My bedroom/sewing room loft space is decorated in black, gray, red and white, so these FQs are perfect for me!
    I would make a minky-backed stole-style quilt to wrap up in while I craft at my table on chilly nights, and to throw over my bed decoratively during the day. Any extra bits would be used for pincushion, needlebook, and other sewing accessories.

  36. I would make a quilt with a couple of fun lil creations of my daughters. She draws out these cute cartoon characters. I would do the two that represent herself and her best friend Emily. So I could give it to her when she gets home.

  75. I have this great pattern for a black and white wall size quilt that has a sprinkling of red and these fat quarters would work into that project so well. Of course it would be donated to the nursing home to be used as a lap robe for a senior... I currently have 8 quilts cut and ready to sew for them

  98. I'm from Georgia, and the Georgia Bulldog colors are red and black. So I'd throw some white or silver with those FQs and make me a Georgia Bulldog quilt. I've got some Georgia Bulldog fabric with the Bulldog logo on it that would go fantastically with these fabrics. Yep! I can picture it now.
