Next I have my wonky star quilt that my bee sisters helped me do in Scraptastic Bee....I love it! There were just the right amount of each type of center to stagger the floral pattern I sent....I'm going shopping for the backing this weekend! I think this lovely quilt is in need of a border.....too much white and not enough color. What do you think?
And of course, last but not least, this beauty I assembled today! My log cabin quilt. I love this one because it was made with all these totally random FQ's that I couldnt' see what to do with them. Doesn't it just work? For the back, I'm using just a simple, slightly lavendar, solid because the front is so busy. This one should be quilted this week, unless I decide to send it to a long arm quilter. Still deciding on that one since funds are low. What do you think of this one?
I have another one that I'm going to quilt tomorrow....so cute! Can't wait to show you the pictures! Have a creative day!
Cute dress and I agree that a slight ruffle around the hem will look cute......I love the log cabin that you quilted......awesome colors.....
ReplyDeleteWow! All I know is that you have serious talent!!! I love all of these including the dress that shows too much leg :) I think a ruffle would work maybe even one out of tule (sp?). Keep havin' fun! :) Love ya! ~ Cyndi
ReplyDeleteThe log cabin quilt is lovely! Great colours with a good balance fabrics!
ReplyDeleteI have fabric to match your dress don't do the ruffle yet. I'll give it to you, you'll love it!
ReplyDeleteHmmm..... Girlie toile on the dress hem.
